[ Overview ]
Inventory that lives where the team already chats.
Perkakas Resto had no product catalog and no single view of its stock, which made selling to customers harder. Its sales team and agents already work in Telegram, so we moved the daily work there instead of asking them to learn another tool.
A web dashboard sits behind it for what is better done on a larger screen: editing product details, setting prices, managing the catalog, printing QR labels for the warehouse, and exporting to Excel.
[ Challenges ]
What had to be solved.
-
No catalog to sell from
The business had no product catalog. Agents had nothing consistent to show customers, so selling meant describing items from memory or forwarding photos.
-
Prices and availability were not shareable
Every customer asked for price and stock. With no single source, answers varied from one agent to the next.
-
Stock lived in chat
Sales and agents reported stock in Telegram groups and tracked it by hand, so the count could drift from what was on the shelf.
-
Another tool to learn
The team already works in Telegram. A separate inventory app would be a new habit on top of daily selling.
[ Solution ]
From a chat message to a catalog entry.
We kept Telegram as the front door and put AI and a web dashboard behind it.
-
Post in Telegram
A sales agent posts a product or sends a short message in the Telegram group, such as a sale of two units.
-
The bot updates the stock
AI reads the message, matches it to the product, and updates the count. The bot replies with the new stock and a link to the product.
-
Live in the catalog
New products from Telegram go straight to the catalog. Staff can adjust details and prices from the dashboard at any time.
Also in the dashboard
-
Telegram notifications
Stock updates and alerts arrive in Telegram, so the team sees changes without opening the dashboard.
-
QR labels for the warehouse
Print a QR code for each product to label items and shelves, and manage warehouse stock from the code.
-
Inventory table
Search and filter by category, warehouse, and status, sorted by what changed most recently.
-
Product catalog
A catalog agents can share with customers, with the price and availability of each product.
-
Price margin
One margin setting that turns the base price into the retail price.
-
Excel export
Download the inventory as a spreadsheet whenever the team needs a report.
[ Results ]
What changed.
-
A catalog to sell from
Agents share a product page with price and availability, instead of describing items one by one.
-
One source of truth
Stock, prices, and the catalog read from the same inventory, so what agents quote matches what is on hand.
-
No new habit
The team keeps working in Telegram. Updating stock takes a message, not a new app.
-
Live right away
A product posted in Telegram is in the catalog straight away, with no extra approval step.
[ In their words ]
Very satisfied with the result. The developer was able to turn what we wanted as a customer into an app that really helps our business.
